Green Bandit

Description

Green Bandit (Korth-P., – Korth-L.; 2026)

33”, 5.5 – 6”, EM, Dor., 5 branches, 18 buds, Diploid,

Trash Panda x Green Ghost

Purple petals with wide blue and purple band around large green throat.

Green Bandit is the first of several introductions we plan on out of our fine diploid Trash Panda.   The clear colors, fine scape, and consistent blooms make it an excellent garden plant.

As a hybridizing plant, Green Bandit combines genetics from several breeding lines.  Trash Panda contains Arno’s Bow Tie with Emerald Starburst (Doorakian) and Kermit’s Scream (Norris).  Green Ghost contains Arno’s Bow Tie plus Cosmic Kaleidoscope (Carpenter).  This combination of genetics can lead to a great variety of results.

The name combines the racoon theme from Trash Panda (racoons have a bandit type mask around the eyes) with Green Ghost.   Green Bandit will be sold as double fans.
