Pinewood Miracle Worker x Return of the King

Purple with lavender watermark, edge of lavender and white, green throat.

Miracle King combines one of our finest purples (Return of the King) with “blue” eyed cultivar Pinewood Miracle Worker.  The result is a wonderful purple daylily with a lavender watermark.  The best features of Miracle King are the clear colors, excellent scapes, and consistently perfect flowers.  It makes a fine garden clump and the heavily budded scapes lead to a long bloom season.

As a hybridizing plant, Miracle King has excelled.  We have several future introductions out of Miracle King and others under consideration.  Features passed on are large watermarks in a variety of colors including lavender/blue, pink, and rose.  Miracle King is pod and pollen fertile and is proven as a fabulous breeder for a variety of colors.

Miracle King has been one of those plants that has been a great performer from day one.  It is sold as double fans.
